We’re seeking an experienced Cluster Senior Sales Manager to drive new business across the Panthers Precinct portfolio, including Pullman Sydney Penrith, Mercure Penrith, Western Sydney Convention Centre and Event Centre Panthers!

This senior role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with strong domestic MICE networks and proven experience across hotels, conference centres or major event venues. You’ll lead strategic account development, major bids and high-value opportunities while positioning the Panthers Precinct as a leading business-events destination.

About the Role

This is a senior, commercially focused sales role with a strong emphasis on proactive business development, major account acquisition and the conversion of complex, high value opportunities. The Cluster Senior Sales Manager represents and sells the precinct as one integrated destination across Pullman Sydney Penrith, Mercure Penrith. Event Centre Panthers and Western Sydney Convention Centre (WSCC).  

Key Responsibilities

• Drive MICE sales and new business development across the Panthers Precinct, building a strong pipeline of conferences, meetings, groups and major events.

• Proactively identify and secure new business across corporate, association, government, education, event agency and other key markets.

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, building strong relationships that drive repeat business, referrals and long-term growth.

• Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and proposals through to negotiation, contracting, handover and post-event follow-up.

• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across accommodation, event spaces, catering, AV and precinct experiences.

• Represent the Panthers Precinct at trade shows, networking events, sales activities and industry forums.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Revenue and Events teams to maximise conversion, revenue and overall business opportunities.

• Maintain a strong understanding of the market and competitor landscape, using insights and sales data to identify new opportunities.

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records and forecasts while working towards agreed revenue, room-night and conversion targets.

• Contribute as a senior member of the sales team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and helping drive a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.

About You

• Strong experience in MICE sales or business development within hotels, convention centres, event venues or similar environment.

• A proven track record of generating and converting new business, particularly conferences, meetings, groups and major events.

• Established relationships and networks within the Australian MICE industry will be highly regarded.

• Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills, with confidence managing the full sales cycle and engaging with senior stakeholders

• Experience with CRM and event/hotel sales systems, with a good understanding of sales pipelines and performance

• Flexibility to travel and attend industry events, client functions and site inspections as required, with full Australian working rights.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to take on the ultimate role in club operational management at our prestigious Bathurst Club. We are looking for a customer service professional who can coordinate club operations from the various departments of the club to ensure our members and guests are our number one priority. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a hands-on leader, and will direct and mentor the team to ensure customers are attended to with efficient, responsible and friendly service whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment. 

As a Duty Manager:

• Prepare mise en place under the direction of the Outlet Chef
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen throughout and following each service
• Check food deliveries and ensure products are stored safely in accordance with FIFO procedures
• Complete daily cleaning checklists to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace

About you

• You have a minimum of two years’ post-apprenticeship experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment
• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  Strong written and verbal communication skills

About the Opportunity

As a Surveillance Operator, you will play an important role in protecting our employees, members, guests and property by monitoring more than 450 CCTV cameras and identifying potential safety, security and compliance concerns.

You will join a close-knit team while also working independently for extended periods, maintaining focus, accuracy and sound judgement at all times. Experience in surveillance, security or a related environment will be highly regarded.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor live CCTV footage through the Avigilon system
• Review incidents and conduct investigations using CCTV footage and available reporting systems
• Respond to and action CCTV requests from NSW Police
• Back up and securely manage Body-Worn Camera footage
• Operate as a central command point and communicate with departments via two-way radio
• Monitor and respond to alarms through the Gallagher security system
• Liaise and work closely with emergency services
• Operate the Emergency Warning and Intercommunication System (EWIS) panel and support fire-response procedures
• Export and interpret gaming meter reports
• Investigate and analyse transactions, behaviours and system-generated alerts for indicators of potential money laundering or terrorism financing
• Complete data entry, reports and administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Comply with Group policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements

About you

Take the lead in driving the Penrith Panthers Rugby League story, protecting our reputation and delivering strategic communications that strengthen our influence and connection across the market and community.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial, the Head of Media and Public Relations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for leading the external media, public relations and strategic communications activities of the Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club. You will develop and deliver integrated communication strategies that promote key initiatives, strengthen our brand identity and protect the Club’s reputation. You will also increase the visibility of media and public relations priorities across the organisation while building trusted relationships with executives, players, coaches, stakeholders, media representatives and the broader community.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Club’s media and public relations activities, including media engagement, crisis communications, stakeholder communications and earned media.

• Develop and deliver the annual public relations and digital media strategy.

• Prepare media statements, speeches, talking points and briefing materials for Executive Management, Board members, Coaches and Players, while providing media training where required.

• Maintain effective reporting systems, action plans and team meetings, while analysing industry activity and measuring campaign performance.

• Manage departmental budgets, wages and expenses and support the achievement of revenue, gross profit and EBITDA targets.

• Maintain a consistent and compelling brand presence in accordance with Group, Rugby League and NRL Licensing Style Guides.

• Leverage positive media coverage and identify valuable community, industry and partnership opportunities.

• Lead and develop a high-performing Digital Content team of four Content Producers through effective recruitment, training, performance management and recognition.

About you

You are an accomplished communications professional and confident people leader with the judgement, resilience and composure required to operate in a fast-paced, high-profile sporting environment. You build trusted relationships, communicate with influence and can balance proactive storytelling with the careful management of sensitive and high-pressure matters.

You will also have:

• A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years relevant experience in public relations, media relations or communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
