Penrith Panthers Rugby League are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated sales assistant to join their friendly Merchandise team in the Panther Shop.

As a Retail Sales Assistant in our busy Panthers Rugby League Merchandise store, you actively promote Panthers Rugby League merchandise and assist customers with their purchases. You will actively engage customers with your enthusiasm and passion for your products, and will maintain high levels of customer service at all times. This role is approximately 28 hours a week and includes weekends, nights and Panthers home game shifts.

The Panther Shop Sales Assistant will enjoy various duties including but not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service to our customers;
• Meeting daily sales targets and upselling where possible;
• Selling merchandise, cash handling and processing transactions through the register;
• Assisting with general customer enquiries and online orders;
• Maintaining store presentation and;
• General shop and cleaning duties.

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

• 12 months experience in retail including cash handling and POS transacations; 
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to provide accurate service in a timely manner to customers;
• Possess strong attention to detail;
• Visual merchandising, retail upkeep and store presentation experience;
• Ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively, either autonomously or in a team.
• You will have a positive, outgoing and energetic approach to work and be exceptionally well groomed at all times.
