The Role of Commis Chef - Support the day-to-day operations of the breakfast kitchen, ensuring efficient and high quality service
- Assist with food preparation for breakfast service and the Tori Bar & Café lunch offering
- Prepare ingredients and dishes in line with menu specifications and kitchen standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless service
- Success in this role will be underpinned by creativity, a passion for food, consistent delivery of high-quality dishes, strong food safety and hygiene practices, and a positive team culture focused on learning and development
About You - 2-3 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment;
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for the hospitality industry with great attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and work independently
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in premium dining is advantageous, but not essential
