Surveillance Operator
Permanent Full Time

Penrith Panthers has an opportunity for a Surveillance Operator to commence! You will be provided with 8 weeks of paid training!

 

The Surveillance Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, members, guests and property utilising the resources of over 450 CCTV cameras. With a keen eye for detail, you will demonstrate qualities of integrity, respect for property and people, and the ability to adapt to changing environments. The Surveillance Operator will be required to work in a team environment and also independently for extended periods of time.  

 

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Live monitoring of CCTV using Avigilon system
  • Actioning police CCTV requests
  • Backing up of Body Worn Cameras
  • Operating as a Command Centre via 2-way radio to our various departments. 
  • Monitoring and actioning alarms using the Gallagher Alarm System.
  • Liaise and work closely with Emergency Services
  • Operation of the EWIS Panel and Fire Response System. 
  • Ensuring high accuracy with data entry and administration tasks
  • Export and interpret gaming meter reports,
  • Investigations using available reporting programs and CCTV
  • Investigating and Analysing transactions, behaviours and alerts generated by internal teams/ systems for signs of potential Money-Laundering/Terrorist Financing behaviour.
  • Maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times;
  • Adhere to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • NSW Security Industry License Class 1A/E;
  • RSA and RCG Certificates;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • A strong understanding of the AML/CTF Act and its applications
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Proficient in writing analytical intelligence reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to master technical equipment will help you to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and also independently for extended periods of time.
