Promotions Assistant
Part Time

Panthers Penrith has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and friendly customer focused individual to join our promotions team.

 

 

About the Role

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and energetic team player with a welcoming smile to deliver outstanding customer service to our members and guests. Assisting our Promotions Coordinator, you will enjoy a range of duties associated with Raffles, Promotions, Bingo, Cash Housie and Member Services.

 

In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service to our members and guests at all times;
  • Demonstrate effective and clear verbal communication whilst using a microphone;
  • Comfortable and confident to speak on a microphone;
  • Support and conduct Raffles and Promotions in a professional manner at all times;
  • Assist in Bingo and Cash Housie by hosting and calling;
  • Inform members and guests of upcoming events and promotions within the club;
  • Setting up and packing down of room;
  • Cash handling;
  • Handling customer enquiries and;
  • Adhere to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

About you 

 

In this role, you will be required to have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels with a range of customers.

 

You will be punctual, have a strong work ethic and a positive and happy attitude to work. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.

 

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

 

Essential skills & competencies:

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously;
  • High standard of personal grooming;
  • Charismatic personality and a welcoming nature;
  • The ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively independently and in a team;
  • Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • RSA and RCG Certificates (essential);
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience (desirable);
  • 1-3 years of cash handling experience (desirable);
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and;
  • Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
