IT Support & Systems Administrator
Full-Time Permanent Position

Panthers Group is one of Australia’s leading entertainment and leisure providers with 5 licensed clubs across NSW and ownership of the Panthers NRL Rugby League Club. We are a proud community organisation and are well regarded for providing a pleasurable and entertaining experience for our members, their guests and visitors.


Reporting to the IT Manager, Panthers Group are seeking a dedicated IT professional to join their busy IT Team. The purpose of this role is to support and administer the Panthers Groups’ technology platforms to ensure the systems deliver efficient and effective service across the business operations.


Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide general IT support to a range of stakeholders and sites across the business;
  • Ensure queries and support queue are effectively and efficiently managed;
  • Application user accounts are configured correctly including additions, deletions and application level access;
  • Support point of sale software, hardware and interfaces ensuring they are used in accordance with supplier guidelines and;
  • Assist with and administer a range of different business applications including desktop PC’s, point of sale, telephones along with desktop and server applications;
  • Assist with and administer core systems infrastructure including HP Switches, Network Firewalls, Server & Storage Arrays;
  • Ensure staff are trained in the proper use and maintenance of equipment and systems.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Between 2-5 years’ experience in an IT or systems support role within a medium to large organisation;
  • Excellent customer service skills, a professional work attitude and ability to work unsupervised;
  • Strong passion and drive to learn and problem solve;
  • Ability to prioritise key issues, strong analytical skills and effective time management skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and Microsoft Certification would be an advantage;
  • Exposure to VMWare, HP Networking, Information Security Principles & Practices, Microsoft SQL or Crystal Reporting would be desirable.


A dedicated and self-motivated individual, your hours of work will be part of a rotating roster covering Monday to Saturday and participation in an afterhours “on-call” rotation (for mission-critical issues) to provide exceptional IT support to our busy Clubs and Rugby League Club.
