About the Opportunity

As a Café Attendant, you’ll prepare and serve quality coffee, food and desserts while delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. With your energy and welcoming approach, you’ll help create memorable experiences in a busy café environment.

As a Café Attendant, you will:

• Deliver friendly and attentive service to members and guests
• Prepare and serve barista-made coffee, other beverages and desserts
• Carry out basic food preparation, including sandwich toasting and plating
• Process payments and perform cash-handling duties
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, including clearing tables and collecting glassware and plates and
• Complete general cleaning duties as required.

About you

• Have a minimum of one year’s experience in the same or a similar role
• Ideally hold a barista qualification and/or have experience preparing quality coffee in a high-volume environment
• Bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service;
• Hold current RSA and RCG certificates
• Have excellent communication skills
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
• Bring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Be available to work a variety of shifts across our operational hours, including nights and weekends and public holidays
