About the opportunity 

As a Meeting & Events Attendant, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional events at Panthers Penrith. Working across a diverse range of functions, you’ll help transform event spaces, provide polished food and beverage service and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience from arrival through to pack-down.

As a Meeting & Events Attendant, you will:

• Prepare and transform event spaces, including moving tables and setting crockery and cutlery
• Create welcoming and memorable experiences through attentive, guest-focused service
• Deliver professional and efficient food and beverage service, including confidently carrying multiple plates
• Keep event spaces clean, organised and presentation ready by clearing tables and collecting plates and glassware
• Process payments and handle cash accurately
• Support the smooth delivery of events through pack-down and general cleaning duties

About you

You’re service driven and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. You work confidently in a fast-paced environments, take pride in and understand the importance of timing, presentation and attention to detail in delivering successful events.

You also have:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Current RSA and RCG certifications
• The ability to confidently carry three plates
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
• The ability to confidently carry three plates
• The ability to safely meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for
• extended periods and moving tables and event equipment
• Availability to work across a variety of shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and Public Holidays
• Previous experience in meetings, events or hospitality, which will be highly regarded
