Bring your Accounts Payable expertise to Panthers and become part of a collaborative Finance team supporting a dynamic and diverse business. The Opportunity As part of our Finance team, you’ll play an important role in delivering accurate and efficient Accounts Payable services across the business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the end-to-end accounts payable process while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers. As Accounts Payable Officer, you will: - Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processing.
- Accurately process invoices, credit notes and cheque requisitions.
- Process creditor and gaming payout payments via EFT, BPAY, cheque and OTT, including rejected or returned payments.
- Reconcile creditor statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage corporate credit card processing and reconciliations.
- Ensure invoices and payments are appropriately authorised and processed in accordance with required procedures.
- Maintain creditor master files and accurate financial records.
- Complete end-of-month processing, including GL reconciliations and accruals, while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepareand providing financial statements and reports as required.
- Respond to internal and external customer and supplier enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain registers and records, including motor vehicles, authorised signatories, electricity and fuel cards.
- Manage document control, filing, scanning and archive records across onsite and offsite storage.
- Process vehicle and machinery registrations.
- Support the wider Finance team and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll bring - 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Sound computer and administration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Continia is preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
