The Opportunity

This newly created position offers the opportunity to shape and evolve workforce planning across Panthers Group. Reporting to the Group People & Culture Manager and working closely with the Group CFO, you’ll have broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence how we plan, optimise and manage our workforce. It’s a role where your expertise and insights will have a genuine impact on operational performance and business decision-making.

About the role

As our Workforce Planning Specialist, you’ll bring together scheduling, workforce analytics and compliance to improve our workforce efficiency and support informed decision-making. As Product Owner for UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM), you will lead it's governance, optimisation and continuous improvement to ensure the platform effectively supports our people and operations across the Group.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with operational leaders to develop efficient rosters that balance business needs, compliance and labour costs.
• Own and optimise UKG Pro WFM across Panthers Group, overseeing configuration, governance, enhancements and continuous improvement while ensuring legislative, Award and Enterprise Agreement compliance.
• Analyse workforce data and labour trends to identify opportunities, improve utilisation and address overtime, shift creep and roster inefficiencies.
• Deliver workforce insights and recommendations to leaders to support effective scheduling, labour optimisation and workforce planning.
• Maintain workforce data integrity and governance within UKG, including availability, qualifications, licences and compliance records.
• Coach and influence leaders to embed consistent workforce planning and scheduling best practice across the Group. Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance and People & Culture to ensure workforce systems and processes support business objectives.

About you

You're someone who combines strong analytical capability with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and turn workforce data into practical business outcomes.

You bring:

• Demonstrated experience using and administering UKG Pro Workforce Management
• Demonstrated experience in developing rosters that meet the operation, workforce planning and workforce analytics.
• The ability to turn data into action—identifying meaningful insights and using them to design, build and implement practical processes that improve operational performance.
• Strong stakeholder management, partnering and influencing skills.
• Confidence working with operational and senior business leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capability.
• A genuine desire and willingness to learn our business, spending time alongside our operational teams to understand how they work and the challenges they face
• A continuous improvement mindset and an ability to identify better ways of working.
