The Opportunity

As Precinct Meetings & Events Floor Manager, you will oversee the daily delivery of meetings, conferences and events across the Panthers Events Centre Precinct (ECP) and Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC).

Combining strong attention to detail with a passion for hospitality and a collaborative leadership style, you will ensure every event runs seamlessly and leaves a lasting impression on our customers.

As a Precinct Meetings & Events Floor Manager, you will:

• Lead the daily delivery of meetings, conferences and events across the precinct
• Coordinate event set-up, service and pack-down, ensuring every space is presented to the highest standard
• Conduct team briefings, allocate responsibilities and provide clear direction throughout each event
• Inspire the team to create welcoming and memorable experiences through attentive, guest-focused service
• Oversee the professional and efficient delivery of food and beverage service
• Monitor event schedules and respond confidently to changing operational requirements
• Liaise with event coordinators, kitchen teams and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery
• Resolve customer enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally;
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and compliance
• Provide hands-on support during service and busy event periods; and
• Lead by example, placing our customers at the heart of everything you do.

About you 

You are a confident, hands-on leader with a passion for delivering exceptional events and customer experiences. You also bring:

• A minimum of two years’ supervisory experience within an events or functions venue
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• Exceptional customer service, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams
• Outstanding presentation, grooming and communication skills
• The ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting with event bump-in and bump-out
• A Certificate IV in Hospitality Supervision, or be working towards this qualification
• Current RSA and RCG certifications
• Flexibility to work a variety of day and evening shifts, with regular availability from Thursday to Sunday.
